2008 “…into the garden” Benefit Tour
The 20th annual Friends of Robinson Gardens “…into the garden” Benefit Tour will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event showcases an outstanding venue of five grand private gardens. This self-guided tour includes a lovely luncheon at the fabled Virginia Robinson Gardens Estate, where the guests can view the six-acre garden oasis located in the heart of Beverly Hills. Mrs. Robinson’s historic home will be open and decorated by remarkable floral and room designers expressing this year’s theme “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Guests are invited to step through the looking glass to enjoy a delectable “Mad Hatter” high tea and follow the White Rabbit to enjoy floral design demonstrations, an opportunity drawing, as well as shopping in the unique boutiques made available at the estate that day.
Requests for an invitation to the upcoming Benefit Tour can be emailed with your address to info@robinsongardens.org . Ticket are $175 and sales are limited.
Benefit Tour tickets, a map with garden locations and Tour by V.I.P. Van passes will be mailed prior to the event. Complimentary program books may be obtained at all garden locations on the day of the Tour.
Proceeds from the Garden Tour and Patron Gala help to preserve the Virginia Robinson Gardens as well as allow the Friends of Robinson Gardens to provide on-going community education and outreach programs.
